Dean of Admissions and Teacher
I am the Dean of Admissions and one of the high school English teachers here at Odyssey school. My educational philosophy is founded on the belief that it is absolutely essential to make the classroom an inviting and exciting place to be. I place a high priority on developing positive, meaningful relationships with each of my students. My goal is to foster student growth based on their unique set of skills, interests, and academic needs. I also think it is essential to make the learning process as engaging and entertaining as possible. I actively incorporate students’ interests and learning preferences into my lessons and activities. I love to physically transform my classroom into a space that inspires curiosity, excitement, and wonder. I incorporate interactivity and sensory experiences into my learning activities as often as I can excuse. I know I am doing my job when my students tell me they look forward to walking into my classroom everyday! I have also assumed the role of Dean of Admissions at Odyssey School. This is an exciting opportunity to help grow the Odyssey Community by guiding potential students and families as they navigate the admissions process.
