Odyssey high school is like none other. We are central Texas’ only high school dedicated to serving the educational needs of students with learning disabilities. Our students take fully accredited classes in all core academic subjects while retaining the genuine feeling that learning can be fun and worthwhile. They have gone on to attend four-year colleges, community colleges, and specialized training programs. Our small staff-to-student ratio enables us to deliver rigorous academic content while simultaneously personalizing every step of a student’s educational experience.
Our high school program is committed to developing the following success attributes for our students: self-awareness, proactivity, perseverance, goal-setting, using effective support systems, and developing emotional stability (more).
The Odyssey high school program offers:
- core academic classes
- weekly Connections classes
- a character-centered community
- a regular service-learning component
- a Community Connections option
- a College Connections option
- student government options
- and the chance to be a member of a positive, dynamic community of learners.
