Put simply, diagnostic teaching means being flexible and focused. We are a student-centered school in the truest sense of the phrase. Our teachers have many combined decades of experience in special education and have seen and implemented many instructional strategies, but they all agree that constant adaptation and evaluation are the cornerstones of effective teaching. Our teachers are rich in cross-disciplinary knowledge and form a highly supportive, integrated unit.

Diagnostic teaching is our way of personalizing the response-to-intervention (RTI) approach to special education, where we are constantly monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of our lessons, our interventions, and our students’ experiences.
